![]() I added a gotoh bridge and new tuners (though new tuners were an unnecessary addition) and filed the nut slots a bit and it stays in tune pretty well. The “bigsby liscensed” bigsby works pretty good. It needs a setup right now, but the fretwork was surprising well done for the price point. I have one that stays at my office at church as a backup electric. I'll plug it into one of my Supros and wail away. Looking forward to receiving it - should be here by Thursday! I won't bother removing the Bigsby like I did on one of my Epiphone Johnny A Customs. ![]() One reviewer had this to say, "As a Luthier, who just recently added a Schaller Roller Bridge, (STAYS in Tune), along with a BiggsFixx Bigsby Tensioner System to a customers 'Kat'" - this sounds about right given how close the Bigsby is to the bridge. I didn't really use the Bigsby - not a Bigsby guy. ![]() It didn't sound quite like a Casino - but I would say it was in that ballpark. It had a beefy tone - the neck pup was a bit on the dark side, but I could EQ it to my liking. I remember liking the tone - both the neck and bridge pickups. It's been like 13 years since I had one - see post #4.
